And most often, it was my large breasts.

They made comments about my clothes. They laughed when I appeared in family photos. They told me that certain tops made me look ridiculous and suggested that I should cover up more because people were probably staring at me.

At first, I laughed along with them.

What else was I supposed to do?

But every joke stayed with me long after everyone else had forgotten about it.

Little by little, I stopped wearing the clothes I loved.

I avoided photos.
